Teresa Presents at PSU on June 22
Are you ready to plumb the deepest mysteries of design and learn the secrets of crafting memorable user experiences? Neo-Pangea’s Teresa Van Wagner, Duchess of Sagacious Depiction, will lead you to a utopia of usability through her session, Perception and Deception: How to Build for Performance and a Sense of Occasion, on June 22 at 2:30-3:15 in room 206 at the Web Conference at Penn State.
Through examining 19th and 20th century architectural and artistic endeavors, this session will explore how a modern-day designer would go about establishing a sense of occasion in their digital experience. Metaphors that show the importance of telling a story beautifully will be reviewed, all while considering what our user may be thinking, seeing, or touching.
If you haven’t already, you can register through May 22 for this multi-day Web extravaganza. While you’re there, make sure you treat yourself to some delicious ice cream!
