Harry Potter: The Exhibition

Celebrating the world of Harry Potter has to include a stop in arguably one of the most well-known classes – Potions! Within the Potions classroom there is an interactive kiosk that allows guests to try their hand at successfully crafting a potion. We designed the look and feel of the Potions and Ingredients, as well as animating the Potion reveals on screen as well as physical effects, and developing this interactive. Potions available include: Felix Felicis, Draught of Living Death, Polyjuice, Skele-Gro, and Amortentia.

Most Harry Potter fans know and love the eclectic Professor Trelawny and remembers Harry’s iconic moments within the Divinations classroom. This interactive is where guests try out their skills at deciphering a prophecy. Guests peer into a crystal ball to see their prophecy revealed. We designed, animated, and developed this experience.

Who could forget the moment Harry successfully casts his Patronus for the first time or when he taught ‘Dumbledore’s Army™’ this difficult spell? Choose Your Patronus is an interactive that was designed, illustrated, and developed by some of our very own wizards on the team (We do have ‘An Actual Wizard’ on staff, did you know that?) This experience enables guests to cast the spell to reveal their chosen Patronus.

Outside of Hagrid’s Hut is an immersive video created through 3D modeling and animation, showing some of the most iconic Forbidden Forest moments from the films.

Travel by Portkey is a well-known mode of transportation in the world of Harry Potter. We crafted this experience through design, animation, and development. Guests are encouraged to touch a boot which sends them on a journey to a few of the most memorable places in the Harry Potter Universe.

From the first Harry Potter film, the iconic message scrawled on the Chamber of Secrets door was recreated through design and animation. We solemnly swear no cats were harmed in the making of this animation.

In the “Dark & Light” portion of the exhibit, we recreated the iconic film twist about Tom Riddle through design and animation.

Arguably, one of the most iconic moments from the films is the final battle between Harry and Lord Voldemort. The team was tasked to celebrate this moment through animation and video production, so that guests can step into this seminal moment themselves.

We designed and developed the platform to host the exhibition’s audio guide, as well as producing the audio. The exhibit’s Audio Guide features additional behind-the-scenes content from the making of the films.
