100 Bottles of Snapple
Press Release

100 Bottles of Snapple

The tiger blooded warlocks at NeoPangea, in partnership with the creative team at Campfire NYC, stirrup up a big pot of charming irreverence to create the most extraordinary video ever for the good people at Snapple. Over a hundred hidden Faberge "Easter eggs" were created for the viewer's amusement.  These buried treasures include a myriad of interactives, websites, video shorts and other tasty bestness — all accessible through the "Snappadelic" video. From the video's home on YouTube users can be transported into an interactive Snapply world where they can "bling" their grandmas, print their own keytar cat shirts, create melodious musings using only a #2 pencil, and much, much, ...much-much, more. These ornate trinkets are sure to squeeze every last drop of free-time from Snapple lovers everywhere.

All of these experiences are virtual refreshments served-up to quench the world's thirst for glee.

Working on this project was as exhilarating for NeoPangea as a summer afternoon in the pool. Producing over one hundred digital experiences before spring was a daunting high dive to stand on, but the creative Poseidons quickly shed their water wings and were kicking out jack knives and backflips in no time.

"I've had a passion for Snapple since I was a kid!" stated Damon Williams, NeoPangea's resident Frank Lloyd Web. "I never imagined that someday I would quell my crush on this product by sculpting and then playing with these interactive toys. I loved turning my sweet tooth into some really tasty websites and get the feeling that this video could go beyond viral…maybe even Ebola!" We explained to Damon that although we're sure the video will make its mark on the internet, we're fairly certain that it won't make anyone's organs melt or eyes bleed.

Here's a toast to Snapple's success!

Snapple was founded by Childhood friends Leonard Marsh, Hyman Golden and Arnold Greenburg who saw more potential in fruit than just something to throw in the lunchroom. They began selling fruit drinks to health food stores under the name Unadulterated Food Corporation. But where did they get the name Snapple? It actually came from a carbonated apple soda that was part of the original beverage line. The soda had a great snappy apple taste. Now that's cleverness at its best. Fast forward to the era of hair bands and acid-washed jeans. We're talking 1987, my friends. That's when Snapple teas were born. Snapple Lemon Tea was first. The godfather of all Snapple teas. Today, Snapple produces more than 50 varieties of teas, juice drinks and flavored waters — all Made from the Best Stuff on Earth.® For more information, visit www.snapple.com
